Here are two letters which  tell everything I know about touring Israel. They are both too long, and sometimes boring, but there's a lot of good advice in both. Definitely worth reading, whether you end up traveling with me or not.

1) The first letter is for individuals, families, and small groups (up to, say, 4-5 people) traveling in my van, and begins the tour in Jerusalem. Most Jewish groups follow this route.

2) The second letter is directed to larger groups, where we need a bus and driver. It also shows an itinerary the reverse of that in letter No. 1. Some groups, particularly Christian pilgrimage groups, prefer to start their trip in Tel Aviv, go north to the Galilee, and finish in Jerusalem.
